March 14 St Patrick's Day Parade
March 14 St Patrick's Day Parade
It's a bit away, but never too early to plan, besides I have to send the application in , within a few weeks...
BUT...
Columbia's St Patricks Day Parade is March 14th at 10 am.. lining up around 8... Would love to see a line of mini's out there.. representing M2C2 and the mini community!!
There are a few rules.. most importantly we cannot throw candy from the cars
and there is a competition.. for the entries into the parade..
think luke would dye his beard copper orange and be our leprauchan for the day??
Anyway.. hope we get some great interest in this.. would be fun to show off our cars, and make others smile!

Haha! I'm with John. We could always just spray-paint someone's white MINI orange...
What kinda decorations were you looking for? Like shamrocks, pots of gold, etc.. magnets? Or more like what was done for Halloween?

Here's a small decoration idea--a leprechaun antenna topper:

TILLEY will be there (but in pepper/white not orange or green!!). I'll think up something for her. Maybe I'll bring up the rear as a big (open...i.e. top down) pot of gold. If we stagger the colors we will make up a gaint rainbow. We'll work on something.
A recomendation from us re. antenna *****. While they have what appear to be some innovative ideas Stay away from the Antenna Ball Store and California Toppers!!!!!! They are the same people and they will rip you off. We have personal experience with them. They stole our money. We got it back only by contesting the charge to the credit card company.
The sites were owned/operated by a Dewayne Lytle in St. Louis, MO on Yale Ave. They are now operated by Kirby Lytle just down the same street. I wonder if they are somehow related. Duh! The contact number is 314/761-0832. The contact e-mail is TeamToppers@aol.com, although they have never responded to our e-mails.

Would love to see a lot of cars for this, it would be very cool to be the headlines if we get enough cars from all over. Hope you can get switched Doc, would love to see you down here too!!!! John, can't wait to see you down here for this, we'll have to work out something for a big BBQ lunch or something afterwards!!!!
Party City has lots of 'stuff', but selling it fast. How soon can we know 'for sure' if we're in or not?? TILLEYwants a new outfit, but she couldn't wear it anywhere but the parade!! Have you got a feel for percent success at getting in? I'll remind Shaun (Lawman); maybe he can bring up some middle Georgia folks.

That site offered them for <$4 each. The couple of other sites I found that have them list them for $15-20 each. Hey, if anyone else can find these cheaply, please post the link.
