I got this thread made a sticky so we can discuss the following:

1. Who in our club is going?
2. When they are planning to head up there?
3. Setting up group drives.

And anything else related to our club and MOTD.

I have a reservation for the entire weekend this time so I will be leaving on April 29th. We already have one campsite reserved for the trip up there at Fontana Dam

Actually, no, he didn't say...at least NOT at the time I originally posted a reply. If you'll look, he DID edit, and that's when all your club stuff appeared.

 

I plan to go but probably for only a day or so....I think I will try to head up Friday night and come back Saturday night. Too many things going on to be able to take advantage of the full event.

Is there a website with registration up yet?

 

Go to the MOTD page and scroll a bit, as there are many threads going on there. Registration IS open and going on now, though.

I am probably gonna be there for a day. That will be my first week back in the Carolinas, and I will be chillin in clemson doing nothing

Knowing the Lukester -- he'll probably be staying for the entire event and more....

 

Yes but not planning on staying the whole week like I did last year. Although I have a friend in Sylva NC across from WCU that has invited me to stay with him and his wife. There's always good times at O'Malleys in Sylva and don't for get the German Brewery.????

 

I'm planning to be there Wednesday night and stay through Sunday - reservations at the Microtel in Robbinsville. Kate might be coming as well, but she's not making any promises - work is insane these days.

 

I'd like to set up a group drive? Ill try to put together a list in the first post of who is leaving when obviously becoming more concrete the closer the event gets.

 

At least your lucky enough to be working, most people that I hang with have all been laid off.

 

Oh, we are definitely counting our blessings as far as that goes; I am terribly sorry to hear about others not fairing as well.

Me and the wifey are going to come. She is going to drive the Mini, and I am going to come up in the Evo. Should be good times. We are in South Charlotte, so if anyone wants to car pool up, ... just let me know.
