Perforated or solid sunroof graphic

I am trying to decide whether to get a perforated or solid sunroof graphic for my clubman. Do any of you who have a sunroof graphic have regrets about what you got (e.g. you wish you had gotten the other type?)

If it matters, I am planning to purchase from AC.

Also, does anyone know of a good installer in Phila. area.

tx,
Felicia

No regrets on the solid graphic I got. Cooper flags recommended solid over the perforated graphic. That may have been due to being in north TX with long hot summers.

Perforated allows more light through and you can see through it somewhat. It takes a little more care to maintain it than solid. It doesn't last as long, maybe three years in good conditions.

You can't see through the solid at all. It allows very little, maybe even NO light through. It's easier to care for. It last longer, maybe up to six years in good conditions.

Hope that helps.

I've had no regrets with the perforated UJ on Ferris. I installed it myself and it was a breeze. Because it is perforated there isn't as much of a worry about bubbles. I just followed the included directions and in about an hour it was on. You'll want to do it in a warm place though as the vinyl is hard to work with when cold.

As for light blocking, with the shade pulled I don't get any direct sunlight. It's filter quite nicely. The heat buildup has been drastically reduced as well.
