Help: Lost my OEM Roof Rack bolts

Does anyone know the size / thread pitch? Or have a p/n for the OEM bolts?

Dealer says they can't find a p/n

Thx.

I would be interested to know this as well. When I checked at the dealer he said they were only available in the rack mounting kit which includes all the parts including the towers I think.

I did notice that the bolt head in many bathroom stall dividers is the same as the rack bolts. The allen with the cylinder in the middle. Perhaps one of these shops would carry matching bolts.

Is this the roof rack with the solid/drilled anchor-mounts in the roof? If so I'll look at mine. If it is the one that attaches to the gutters, I can't help.

Yes... solid/drilled anchor-mounts in the roof.

OK, I can't check til friday pm, but if you have pm or email here I'll get back to you. I'll take a bolt to the local hardware and see if they can match it.

That would be great. I misplaced all my bolts, otherwise I would do that. You can post here or PM me.

I'll email you also but thought it would be good to post it here. I didn't take my bolts out of the housing, just matched the thread and approximate length.

The bolts for the OEM roof rack are metric M6 X 25mm (approx. length). The pitch is 1.0. Bolts are available in socket, and various wrend/screwdriver styles. They cost $0.51 each at my local hardware.

Best,

Bill
