Finally received 1 of 2 MCS MINI's YEEEE HAWWWW

My wife's PW MCS finally made it. We took delivery of the beauty today. She is ecstatic. You can see what options she got in our sig. We are very pleased. Dotty is the new arrivals name. I have attached a couple of pictures.

Now we are waiting on mine. It was the ship Traviata but has now been sitting in California since the 5th. I'm hoping to receive it soon. My car will be called Fulburt.

We are almost officially a 2 MINI family. (Kids are grown and gone so it makes it easier to be a 2 MINI Family.)

I hope you enjoy the pics.

Pat

This is my beautiful wife Marcia, myself and Dotty.

The rest are all of Dotty.

You know I'm not sure what that is. I will check it out the next trip out to the dealership. (Hopefully it won't be too long.) I will give you a followup report once I do. Maybe I can get one of those. It may look cool on my garage wall.

Thanks to everyone else who commented. I appreciate the kind words.

I have been unable to drive the new MINI so far.

Regards,

Pat

That's one beautiful Mini you got there Pat. I can't wait to get mine ordered soon (end of this month i hope and his name will be brutis ). I noticed you were at Northwest Mini, How was the service/dealership?

I ask because that is the closest dealer to me, yea I know it's a long way from Alaska, but I love my 02 MC that I bought used (her name is Denise), but I want to pick my options.

The service to date has been excellent. I had all of my ducks in a row before the delivery so the process was smooth as silk. As well the MA that we bought the car from did not make the delivery due to a family emergency but the gentlemen that filled in did a marvelous job.

He takes his time and goes ever detail with you regarding the car. You actually are in control of this you can take as much or as little time as you want. We took quite a bit of time because it is our first MINI and my wifes first. (It is her car.)

At this point the process has been pain free. It took 10 minutes to do the paperwork and the rest of the time was spent going over the details and programming the MINI.

I think you won't go wrong dealiing with these guys.

If you need any other information please feel free to PM me.

Regards,

Pat

Beautiful. Pepper White is one of my favorite colors on the Mini. I am thinking of buying that same car in fact. Thanks for sharing the pics and happy motoring!

Thank you. The pictures really don't do it justice. When you see it in person the look is awsome.

Great photos none-the-less, great idea that you saw fit to include the
beautiful, happy owners as well!

Quite a few of the MINI Colors must be seen in person to truly judge them.

My 'favorite' color order completely changed upon visit to a well stocked dealer and Pepper White is now my second favorite.
It and MY had not even been in the running until seen, 'in the flesh' but if I had two, second would be PW.

Good news! I just had some email correspondence with my MA and my MINI is expected to arrive at the dealership today. I plan to take delivery of the car on Thursday.

Now the excitement is really starting to bubble up. It was cool when my wife got hers but this is mine. Whooooooooooo. I can't wait.

I will get some pictures up as soon as I can and try to get some with both cars side by side.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for the shouts. I will sign off for now and look forward to sharing the next MINI.

Regards,

Pat

My wife just loves her car. I still have only been able to drive it from the driveway into the garage. Of course that's after I have washed it for her. But hey it's better than nothing.

I take delivery of "Fulburt" tomorrow. I have it scheduled for 1 pm. It's going to be a long day today.

My wife is going to drive me of course in "Dotty", I will get some pictures of just mine and of course both cars together.

rhawth99:
Yes it is nice being in an empty nest. If my kids were young I doubt that we would be motoring very much. I know we wouldn't be buying 2 that's for certain.

Anyway, when I get home and quit messing with the car I will get some pictues up.

Regards,

Pat

I think the club idea is a darn good idea.

It's going to be along night tonight.

I took tomorrow and Friday off from work just so I could spend some quality time with the car.

Congrats PatM on the twins (separated at birth obviously!) Can't wait to see some pics of yours. If you haven't already look into the PSMINI.ORG club and PDXMINI.org clubs. Both would be really fun for the twins to go play with others! The owners might even have a good time too!

Hope to see all four of you sometime at a meet, rally or tech day!

Again congrats!

Sounds good. My wife and I have already joined the PSMINI club. We went to the Christmas party given this year. It was a load of fun and we met some great poeple.

But I have to wait awhile longer for my MINI. The car that I went to pick up on Thursday was rejected by me. The interior was incorrect and there were some other issues that I was not willing to compromise on. I reordered the MINI. The folks at NW MINI were very nice and I understand that I have a production day next week sometime. I'm not sure which day yet but I anticipate getting the new car at the end of February. So Dotty is going to be lonely for a while longer and a little older than her beau.

I'll just have to be patient.

Regards,

Pat

Man that stinks! Plus that much more painful knowing your wife already has hers to rub your nose in it! But good for you to stick to your guns and get the right car. It will be worth the wait I am sure.

Look forward to seeing the new-new car then soon!
