Brake Rotors - dealer or vendor

$106 each at the dealer.

I'm fruggle, so what's out there? I need to do it ASAP, as they are for the tech session on the 17th.

Have you checked Napa (if you search I'm pretty sure I've even seen the part # posted in the past) or the local Autozone, advance auto, checkers etc etc? They can usually get them in store in a day or two for less than the dealer and are in m experience just as good for street use as the OEM rotors.

Tire Rack is a good source. $120 for Brembo blanks. Next day delivery in many cases. I'd opt for the dba 4000's myself....$260/pair....they'll pay dividends with heat dissipation due to their venting design.

nope, I did not - notice my reply with alternate info for quality replacement parts. in case you hadn't noticed, there are a multitude of options out there besides you. perhaps being helpful first, selling second is the better tact to take.

Or, if you'd like, explain how what you sell is superior (to the dba's, brembo or buying direct from TSW). I'd love to hear your explanation.

I have definitely been looking at the brembos, but I've also looked at Bosch as well.

I've used dba 4000, Racing Brake 2pc, OEM Brembo cad plated and EBC dimpled. Can't go wrong with any of them except the EBC....steer clear of anything EBC (pads and rotors).

Lets be fair here please. Those were tracked and the OP stated it was a very hot day and a double session. Those of us that track our cars and push the brakes are used to seeing cracks. Rotors are just a another maintenance item, they take a lot of abuse.

In the equation of braking ability, the particular pads you use are far more important than the rotors. In terms of rotors, I'd go for whatever is most convenient to acquire. For aftermarket, TSW rotors are supposed to be pretty good. From what I've read most people are usually disappointed with the Brembo replacement rotors.

So you got Hawk pads? Which ones?

+1 You'll find countless threads of any number of cracked rotors (the last I saw was for Willwoods) under intense track conditions, especially if they are of the stock size/width.
