Fender lining is coming down in

places. I've tried to pull it back under the black plastic trim but no luck.

Anyone have the cure? Thinking to clean the lining and the fender and Gorilla glue the sob into place.

The dealer is about 2 hours away so I want to fix it myself.

Never ran into this on my '07.....something must be wrong. The problem w/ a self fix is that if a new piece is needed the dealer has to document the failure to replace under warranty. I'd be tempted to fix it myself, too...this'd be the only thing holding me back. Bottom line, something is amiss...a mechanical faster let go or something weird like that.

Got a picture? I have taken mine out but I don't want to give you bad info. If I know what I am looking at I can give you come feedback. You may be missing some plastic clips. If you can send a photo.

wot's uh the deal with that lining? is it to deaden road noise, or is it meant to gather brake dust so the wheels dont collect as much?

Road noise I think...makes sense. Our MB also has the same thing.

I was wondering why my wheels seem to stay cleaner, as opposed to my 2005. Ive only washed my 2009 twice and quite a bit of brake dust gets washed off the felt, more on the front than rear, every time.
