Cooper S and JCW Suspension, Monotube or Twin?

Who makes the components for BMW? Is the cooper s OEM unit monotube or twin tube design? what about JCW sports suspension?

We have a gti and 06 cooper s in the house. Love the way the cooper handles and would like to try to lean that direction on the gti.

Looking into Bilstein Sports shock/strut/spring combo or H&R Coilovers, both monotube.

thanks in advance.

Want to make your GTI handle like a Cooper? Start by shaving 600 pounds on the car.

More seriously though, I don't know the real answer to your question - sorry! But I'm sure someone here will.

The JCW shocks on my GP are made by Delphi. I do not know who makes the springs and I have never been able to find out the spring rates for the various JCW springs.
