Hi everyone,

FYI: aFe CAI 54-10561 for 2002-2004 MINI (non S) is C.A.R.B exempt.

This means it is 50 state legal in the U.S.

Does that mean the aFe CAI on the '06 Coopers is not legal in 50 states? What am I missing? This is a little out of left field for me. Could someone please provide a little background that lead up to this announcement?

CARB is a CA only law and department. Part of their program is limiting vehicle modifications for "improved air quality. They have it setup where each modification needs be specifically and individually approved
