Painted the barndoor trim? Show us, please.

There was a lot of discussion before the Clubman came out about painting the trim around the barndoor. I know the there are vendors who offer painted trim but I haven't seen many pics.

So... I thought I'd start a thread to show off the painted barndoor trim on your clubman.

Who's first?

I installed the painted pieces then covered the doors for a club member with a Union Jack Decal

I didn't paint them, I ordered the black ones from a German dealership, ended up costing $300 all together. For me it was cheaper than getting the painted ones done and shipped to me. I still need to vinyl wrap and install the bumper insert. Enjoy the picture

WOW! Looks great~~!

So, you had the MINI dealership order the parts and they installed them?

My local dealer is balking and simply stating that they cannot change out the rear pillars and that that MINI mandates the contrasting colors.

I had the dealership order them for me....... I am way to naurotic to let anyone work on any of my cars..... I did it myself, first side took about 15mins, second side took a little less than 10 mins, a total of 6 screws per side. I can do a how-to or something, when we get another nice day that is..... I have to re-do one of the tail-light finishers, I pushed in the wrong spot and broke a piece. Also be careful of the factory ones, one side on mine was fine, but the other had double-sided sticky tape on it and I had to pull a little harder which caused me to break one of the tabs. I can glue it back on, so not to big of a deal. It really was super simple, good luck
