Two TireRack order questions

I got a wheel and tire package and it arrived this past monday. I was too busy to open them up until last night and I plan on installing today.

1) I completely forgot about the NAM discount. Is it too late to ask?
2) one tire was not inflated. I pumped it up to 30psi with a bike pump last night in my garage and I think it held pressure. Is this a common thing? Should I try to return it or is it OK to install?

There is a NAM discount? I searched last year while buying tires for a non-Mini and never found one.

I thought I read about one if you buy from Alex in the vendor forums. Of course, I was so excited to get new wheels that I didn't think about it.

I just installed my ASA JH6 + Kumho AST combo.

When I had used the links in the vendor forums I didn't see any discount. Maybe it doesn't show up until after you order. I never got one.

It's not common to receive a tire & wheel without air. Keep an eye on it for a day or so to make sure it holds air. My guess is they just forgot to air it up.

I'm not aware of any NAM discount at Tire Rack.

Enjoy your new tires & wheels. Those wheels are my favorite.

I don't know how they could have done the road force balancing that they said they did. Tirerack offers free mounting and road force balancing on their wheel and tire combos.

I wasn't going to have much time other than today to install, so I put em on and hoped for the best. This was all precipitated by my frustration with the OEM euphorias losing air around the bead seal in cold weather. I still have a compressor and tire gauge in the car, but I hope I don't need them.

Pictures are forthcoming. By the time I finished installing, topped off the pressure in that tire and got home, the sun was going down and it was getting freezing cold. They look awesome. Almost as nice as panasports.

I never got one.
We do have firm pricing, due to sponsoring 100+ forums. We choose to sponsor series like spec E36, or spec Miata - or Solo II

Hi Alex.

I'm not worried about any discount. I'm happy about getting cool wheels for $99 a pop.

Do you know anything else about the tire that arrived flat?

Not a good camera, not a good picture day, more to come later:

I have Panasports on my Miata & JH6 ASA's on my MINI. I think the ASA's look a bit better to my eye. They sure the heck are cheaper than Panasports.

Your car looks great!!!

Check the valve core, see if its tight. Keep an eye on the pressure
