...My new US flag! It's a static cling type and it was incredibly easy to install.

I was a bit hesitant to have something so "loud" on the roof but I absolutely love it with the IB.

I don't know what this car has done to me. I'm typically very quiet and enjoy blending into the background. Even my M3 doesn't really look much different than a regular 3-series unless you know what you're looking at (and I like it that way). Since I've gotten the MINI I have purchased stripes and now an enormous flag for my roof.

 

We're lovin' your enthusiasm. With the static cling you can be temporarily crazy... that's a perfect world! Sure like your Driver's Edge stripes. (Off topic: I hear there's a movie coming out called "Jersey Girl", you knew this, right?)

Yeah, I was aware of that. Heard about it many moons ago because they were doing some filming here. Actually, I believe there was a really bad 80's movie by the name of Jersey Girl as well. Not sure if this new one is a remake or what.

i also like waht another mco member did..he has a white roof/sunroof and he did a full white vinyl on top..similar to yours

I also thought about getting one of those but this was a bit more affordable for now. Too bad they don't make an all-white static cling decal so I could change between the flag and solid white whenever I wanted to.

Really like the flag, it looks great on that color MCS. If you don’t mind, would tell where you purchased it and the cost? (you can PM) Also is it perforated and you haven’t had it long so I will not ask about the UV loss. When you get the new wheels and tires just post the pics ok.

Yep, I picked it up on Ebay for $27. Pretty lucky actually. You can get either a US or UK static cling flag from Cooper Accessories for $55 regularly. They might be having a sale right now, but then again I could be thinking of another site.

You might keep your eyes open over on Ebay though in case someone lists another one there.

Charles, no new wheels/tires for me. My credit card is smoking and it's time to give it a rest. Besides, I'm still waiting for my snow tire/wheels to arrive.

So many MINI goodies.... so little money.
