Amigo BG?

I know a popular routine is Amigo followed by Epic. How about Amigo then BG? OK? Not a good combo?

Thanks. I just got Epic this week, and am planning to do that this weekend.

Fine combo, but BG is not as durable as Epic.
For a longer lasting shine try Amigo, Epic and then BG, with BG refresher every 4 to 6 weeks.
The Epic step will really not take much. Just apply, let dry and wipe off.

Don't you have to tape off trim and make sure Epic doesn't get on it? I've always avoided any product that I have to be super careful with (i.e. not getting it on anything other than paint). But I guess Amigo falls in that catagory, huh?

I've never had white trim issues with Epic, although I did with BG a little. It all came up easily with Black Wow though.

On the other hand, polishes that I've used (M80 and Swirl, and Amigo a *little*) have caused white marks on the trim.

And you don't have to tape. I prefer to slather the trim in dressing first, then wax/polish...then go back with a shop towel and wipe the trim down. Easier and faster than taping. I hate tape.

Hey ML, help me out with 'dressing'? Are we talking Newman's Own or some automotive product?

Trim dressing

I use Prima Nero...although for this use (to just wipe right back off) you could probably use some cheap stuff pre-polish, then follow with good stuff like Nero after you wipe it down.
