Hi My name is Tran!

Hi everyone! I've just signed up for NAM not too long ago, just bought my 03 Mini about 2 and a half weeks ago or so... I LOVE IT!!!!

You guys are a lot of help! I really want to start doing some mods...as soon as I get the money for it... damn these car payments.

I actually did my very first today... I smoked out the reflectors! A nice cheap mod, I also got in my rubber mats today.. awesomeee. And bought my plastidip to do some blacking out! Gas cap, headlight rings, side markers... I'm not sure how to do the beltline or the door handles... Should I just buy the beltline kit from outmotoring to black out the chrome because I'm not sure how to take it off in order to paint it?

Thanks again for everyones help! You guys are the best

Welcome to NAM and congrats on the purchase of your MINI!

I have no input on the beltline, however I'm sure someone will chime in.

I did the beltline once. It is easy but you need to take your time. The tape is good stuff, but it is JUST the width of the metal strip; so you have to center it to make certain it covers the whole thing. It's pretty easy to flub and leave a little tiny bit of bare metal showing at the edge of the tape. Just takes patience and a good eye.

After I had it on for a while, I decided it looked sort of cheesy I took it off. It's easy to remove if you decide you don't care for it.

Oh, and welcome to NAM and MINI ownership! May you enjoy many years of your MINI.
