Best Sounding CAI

Hey All,
I'm not really concerned with the different performance of different CAIs, i'm looking for the one with the best sound. I have the CDA from bmc, and it sounds okay. I've heard several other CAI's that sound like a turbo, they kind of wind up. Any leads on which ones would sound more like that....?

Sound wise the AGS is lovely, but hard to find, expensive even used, and a PITA to install. I had the M7/DDM alright sound, but I took off its lid and it came alive. The Alta sounds similar since it comes with no top.
Alta or DDM/M7 (no lid)

I really like my DDM intake. I have a lid on mine. Would it be even louder without the lid? However without the lid it has no seal and will get hot air from the engine I would assume.

with the combination of the bypass valve and the CAI (Alta) if you drive right there is that BPV sound that kind of sounds like a BOV. i get alot of looks
the alta sounds like a whining baby it's intense:

I'm pretty fond of my Afe--liked it so much I got one for my diesel F250. Then I added a "muffler" to the truck and started thinking about adding a cat back muffler on the Mini. Any way--the Afe screams/growls above 4k rpms--thinking about how it will sound with a new muffler.

~ Alta v2.~

Looks better w/out the ALTA cover, but the cover helps to keep cool air coming in from cowl. It's fully open in back, no back panel at all. It's not really loud, it SCREAMS. Mostly because the 2.0 has only a cone and foam washable filter, no fabric or cotton to muffle the intake.

Alta w silicone, hands down what your looking for, the thing sounds sick, plus it sounds like that the whole time your accelerating not just at the top, and it made everything else louder, supercharger, exhaust, but most intakes will prob do that.

With my exhaust I can't really even hear the CAI until I really give it the beans! hahaha...but then it kinda sounds like a jet engine warming up!!!
