I just picked up my 09 CR/B MCS last night, and I love it. But I noticed that the S logo under the Cooper logo is not on the back of my car. Is this normal for 09s? Or for Chili Red? Or did they forget to put it on? Not a huge deal, but I'm kinda curious.

 

Are there two exhaust pipes in the middle or just one to the side?

 

LOL It's definitely an S. It has the hood scoop, two tailpipes in the middle, S logos on the sides and doorsills, etc.

 

Consider it a gift -- less to remove.

 

It should be there. Someone may have swiped it while the car was at the dealer.

 

Interesting you got off w/o a badge. I saw a CooperD at the dealership the other day...nearly gave me a heart attack!!!!!! It turned out, however, that was a mis-badge from the factory. So the lesson is.....a apparently MINI can be mis-madged. But no badge at all??

 

you could consider it a misbadge. It's just badged as a Cooper instead a Cooper S.

i'm sure the dealer will readily give you and install the missing badge for free

all i think of is the Corolla S or whatever it is when I see it lol. Ive always hated the Toyota emblem... but maybe ill get used to the Cooper one... We'll see.. all i've gotta do is debadge if it bugs me

i was really considering just taking the S off

 

My neighbour has one of those Corolla S's and it just drives me batty.

Have you ever thought of installing one of those classic style S's used on the original Mini Cooper S?

 

Seriously, just get rid of all the badges. If anything, just leave the MINI badge.
