Redwood Red 3-Spoke Leather Steering Wheel

Has anyone installed a factory Redwood Red Leather Steering Wheel in their MINI? I have an '09 JCW with Rooster Red trim and think that the Red/Black steering wheel would add to the appearance.

I do not have the Redwood steering wheel but i did see a car that had that and the e-brake and shifter and boots.

If my memory is correct they are a much darker red than the Rooster Red and would probably clash.

Just my .02 cents.

The color is too different.

My JCW has Rooster Red trim and I'm going to get the Alcantara JCW steering wheel. I already have the Alcantara shift and ebrake boots with the JCW CF shifter and ebrake handle. Those look really good with the Rooster Red interior.

I did not like the stock JCW shifter. It was too big and bulky. The JCW shifter suits me much better. I find it more conformable for shifting. I also think it looks much nicer (I also got the alcantara boot to go with it).

i agree with the fact that it looks nicer. have yet to drive a mini with one installed, or even ever to hold one just to see how it felt. i was at the dealer this morning and they were out of stock of both the CF/Leather and CF/Alacantra so ill see what happens next time im over there.

I ordered my JCW based on a test drive of a MCS JCW. It had the JCW shifter. When I got my factory JCW, I did not like the shifter nearly as well.

I'm also getting the alcantara JCW steering wheel (XMas gift from wife). I don't like the stock one. The JCW wheel is closer to what I'm used to driving a E46 M3.

the E46 M3 is deff one of my favorite cars. my cousin had one - 04 E46 M3 in seguna leca blue or whatever it was, the teal. beautiful color, fantastic machine. my friend has an 06 with the competition package with a supercharger on it - 415 hp to the wheels..crazy car. i know what you mean in regards to that steering wheel, its super beefy and gives the driver this incredible feel.
