1. Brand new 09 Mini Cooper Clubman base. Comes with stuff that I wanted, which was bare minimum;

Night fire red color, bonnet stripes, black top, multi function steering wheel, alarm system.

Out the door for MSRP, with taxes it's $23227.

2. Used 2007 Mini Cooper Hard Top. Base model with the following;

Astro black color, bonnet stripes, white top, cold weather pkg, auto dimming rear view mirror, auto rain sensor, auto a/c

Used vehicle has 7000 miles and was purchased Jan 08. Asking $20,900. I'm definitely not paying asking price since a brand new one with same options is $21,300-this is with the price hike since the 07 models(darn greenback value loss :(). So with taxes it's about $21965.

If I choose the used vehicle, what would be a reasonable offering price? Price difference is about 1.2k but for a NEW CLUBMAN. Extra room, and I get to fart in the seat first! Out of the options the used vehicle has, only the cold weather pkg and astro black colors are the only options I would have chosen.

So tell me what price would it take for you to choose the used MC over the MCC. Oh! Let me complicate things by offering a third option!

3. 08 Brand new Mellow Yellow MCS. Not too many options-maybe Multi function steering wheel. Same price as MCC.

 

Option 2: $19,500+Taxes, Title and Licensing?? I think that sounds like a Fair Price.

I understand the "NEW" feeling...it can't be beat that's for sure!!
