I saw the web site....thought the eyes looked cool....ordered a set....and then it hit me..........I have a Gen 2... DOH!!!

Didn't want to send them back soooo..........

Ok--OK, now I see where the eyes are (on the inside bonnet). I thought I was going blind. IMO, you are lucky as all those fake eyes look like crap on Mini headlights.

djam43, think you're thinking of the under bonnet eyes, which those are, and not the headlight eyes.
Both look pretty cool to me. even better in person.

 

I don't see the thermal material that helps keep the hood scoop from melting. Did you remove this, or did your Mini not come with it? Is is no longer needed?

Anyway, yeah, I thought "What is up with his engine bay?" Then I noticed there was no hole in the bonnet.
