I was just wondering if anybody knows wether a r56S rear bumper would be a straight bolt onto a non S... My thought is to put an S exhaust onto my car. With a few mods to keep the proper pressure. Any thoughts as to how it would look with that bumper? And would the stock S exhaust be a little louder?
Crazy???? no, we are all a little crazy. I'm guessing that your issue might be that S exhaust runs through were your spare tire would be. I'm not sure if this is the case (I think I read it in one of the threads), but the S uses run-flats and does not have a spare.

This is all true. I suspect that it would be a more complex mod than simply swapping the exhaust and bumper. There are exhaust experts on this site who will likely be able to tell you if it's possible though.
This is what the underside of an S looks like. I don't have a shot of a non S but I'm pretty sure the exhaust tunnel runs offset rather than down the middle.

For my justa'Cooper, only from being up on front ramps for a recent oil change;
I could see the exhaust going down the center tunnel past the fuel tank,
where it jogs to starboard and also has heat shields all the way.
Would make more sense to install the MC rear exhaust part on an MCS and gain a spare tire space,
but there must be a reason that it is not done.
Yeah the exhaust does go centerline till the spare tire...but i would think that the spare tire could easily removed...there is another thread where someone mentioned that the MC has the bolt positions for the MCS exhaust hangers...as for the bumper...im just really curious how it would look.
