Happy 2nd Birthday to MINI "Puky" =D

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to share my MCS' 2nd birthday! Thanks God I still can enjoy this awesome car!
So it got new Rain-X latitude wiper blades, new front rotors, a ride to a really cool car wash, polish and a trip to Daytona beach! =P Two years, 37k miles and lots of fun!

Happy Motoring!

Joseph

Cool. I hope the tide comes in slowly. Does the sand get everywhere? Then again it's probably not as bad a dust on a gravel road.

Well it was funny (a little scary too) because once I decided to leave the water was to high already, so I had to drive into the water =S, not too much, I was very careful. Did not get sand. So I had to wash the car again with fresh water after that... even though, it was a cool experience... I liked to do donuts in the sand, so cool! =D I am already looking forward to again!

And thank you! I hope I can enjoy it for long time too! =D

Thanks! Not too many people recognizes that is a go kart... I have had people telling me that "the paint is peeling off..." hahaha... Anyway, looks cool, I got it on ebay.

Congrats!

Mine is 43 months old with 42,800 troublefree miles on the clock. Still looks, drives and feels brand new. I took mine home from Lauderdale MINI on March 20th, 2005. Almost 4 years ago!

Oh and I am planning to keep it at least for another 150K-200K miles.

PS: I love Daytona Beach but more specifically, Ormond Beach. My R53 S has done the beach drive a few times already too.

I think that if I ever decide to change my MCS, will be for a new R56 or a Clubman! =P
I love Minis!

The photos are great. It looks like Puky had a great time at the beach, but never hooked up with a car of the opposite sex. Or is it just that what happens in Daytona, stays in Daytona?

Keep enjoying the car. MINIs rule.

I am planning to do some performance upgrades. Can anyone tell me what are the differences, pros and cons between doing a regular ECU reprogram and installing Unichip?...
thanks

I would pose the question to Luis Sanchez of Minis of Miami. He is the owner of Precision Autowerks in the Miami International Airport area. The man knows his **** and he is extremely reputable/trusted in the local MINI scene. I am sure he will point you in the right direction

Do you have a MINI and an xB? If so, that's hilarious because we have a CR/W Cooper S and a brand new xB.
