TOYS FOR TOTS

Again this year m2c2.us members will be joining Hendrick Mini in collecting Toys for Tots. We have already set up a box for you to put the new toys in and hopefully we can fill up a red convertible with toys. That is if they have a red one available. The last several years we have filled several cars with toys. So when you drop by the dealership don't forget to bring a toy for a child in need. If your to far away and want to mail one that would be great too! Thanks in advance for your participation!

Hey Luke, thanks organizing this, what a great cause!

MINICHI's in now and I have a tote in the garage with toys already.

I collect them throughout the year, Easter bunnies on sale at the grocery store, teddy bears at Target when they're on an end cap and catch my eye, that way I have a lot of toys when the time comes without a big cash outlay in December...

Great idea Dave!

I agree...great cause! I usually support this with MINIs and the Harley Owners Group. Maybe we can set up more than one drop point since we span across several states? Something to discuss Saturday?

O.K. the economy is terrible but we must think of the kids, lets get them toys in the box and then we will start filling up a MINI.

Toys For Tots

I hear the toys are lacking at the dealership. I sent some by Luke a couple of weeks ago but will try to pick up some more and bring them to breakfast Saturday. I can't go to Hendricks but someone can take them down there. Come on now folks, if it were one of your children or grandchildren who had nothing for Christmas, you would certainly want someone to think of them.

I took some down and it's pretty sad. These are tough times and there are demands on our financial resources from everywhere. Our focus at our house this year is on the kids, so I'm doing T4Tots, Xmas Angels and the like and not giving as much to the food banks. Unfortunately, that means some adults will be hungry b/c of me, I just think the kids should get priority at the Holidays...

Make your own decision, and please consider the children...

I agree Dave and you don't have to spend a fortune. Go to the Dollar Store and you can get more toys than you can carry for $20.00. Please remember there but by the Grace of God go I. It could happen to any of us. And, it IS more blessed to give than to receive. God bless all.

I took several more bags of toys to the dealership today and the box was not even half full. Please remember to contribute if only one toy. That will be one more than they would have without your donation. Thanks
