Figures!! My warranty just ran out around mid September. Just 2 days ago I noticed a ticking noise when I got on the gas and when I got off it. So did my research here and most likely the passenger motor mount.

Question #1 Is the passenger side mount the only one that fails? or the only on that is hydrualic?


As I have been noticing some clunking feeling in the steering wheel when making turns. Checked the Power Steering fluid, it wasnt empty but the was only a small amount on the cap/dipstick. I checked the owners manual to find out what the correct level should be....ha ha no such luck!!

Question #2 What is the correct amount of PS fluid? There is notches on the dipstick but what do they mean?? I dont want to overfill or underfill.

So I called my dealership and the SA and she mentioned the extended warranty. She transfered me to the finacial guy, he said was with a customer and would call me back. He never did! I did my search here about the extended warranty and almost **** my pants. I thought with the potential problems that it might be a good idea.

So i have to wait until Monday til I find out the details about the extended warranty. If its covers the possible problems I might be encountering or about to encounter

So, I'm obviously low on power steering fluid. So I just ordered some from GermanAutoParts.com the lowest price I found $16, as compared to the dealers $20+

I also order the lower motor mount. I noticed on a few DIY's that they replaced both. So I thought the bottom should be a breeze to replace.
