Larry came up with the idea of a day trip to Road Atlanta to to see the Petit LeMans on October 4th. The whole event is from the 1st to the 4th, but I know not everyone could be able to make every day. The idea would be to try to stay off interstates and take back roads to Atlanta in the morning, watch the race, maybe food, and then motor back that evening. Road Atlanta is located just north of Atlanta off of I-85. It's about a 3hr drive from Asheville, and tickets would be around $70.
