Show us your Gloss Black or Matt Black Aftermarket Wheels

I am looking to either paint the JCW wheels black or buy an aftermarket set. If you have them let me see them and how much you paid for them. If you have the JCW's painted black post a picture. I am not sure the JCW's have the look I am wanting. We are a custom paint shop but I really want to see what other owners have done. If I find a set I like I will sell the ones that come on the car.

I'm not a piucture kind of guy (I have a ton of them just too lazy and difficult to uplaod, crop, resize, then resize again, post for a test and redo) so I'd rather tell you. I have Konig Feather wheels in gloss black (they come in flat black as well but the wrong color was ordered). Solid wheel, very lightweight and inexpensive. I have been autoxing and tracking these wheels for over a year and no complaints.

I don't have real good pictures at the moment, but I'm going to list my wheels on ebay real soon. They're Volk Racing CE28, 17"x7.5"

They came with the car when I bought it last February, and they're too expensive for my tastes. The thought of them suffering any curb rash scares the bejeebers out of me.

I just got back home from having some "cheapie" wheels installed, and the Volks will be listed as soon as I get some good pictures taken.

RIMS

I got my rims a couple weeks ago.
They are Drag Dr-19's, not the best quality, but I love the look!!
Sorry for the bad pic! I took it with my iPhone !

Not Aftermarket..

just something else to consider. Stock R98's, outer lip Dark Silver, center gloss black powder/clear coat.
Wheels were damged by a tire store trying to remove run-flats. Got a great deal on 'em so I "fixed" 'em .

Enkei J10's 18x7.5, 42mm off set. Matte black.

Although not black, I thought I'd mention that my other set of wheels are Konig Feathers. Like "GOTCURVES" I can attest to there quality. They're inexpensive, lightweight and look great !

Boy, both those sets of wheels look sweet on that car Paulie!! I'd take either if they came with the car...
That's a nice slammed look. Do you have any travel in the shocks? No really...

Thanks for the kind words Doc !

Yes, I have all kinds of travel ! I'm running on Cross coilovers and the height is independent from the shock travel, but you knew that ! The shot of just the wheel shows how the car was dropped when the coilovers were first installed. I moved them up a touch from there. I wanted to make sure I could go lower then I would ever want too unlike the Megan coilovers that I had previously and believe it or not, I could have dropped the car another inch !

The Enkies really suit the look of my car (IMOP). Another nice aspect of the J10's is that I've only seen a couple of Minis with them and only one of them that was running 18's like myself. I also really like the look of the Konig Feathers. I use the Feathers for my performance wheels. I went with the Matte silver finish so the car would give the car a different look.

Those are the ones. Konig Feather FTW!!!!

I like these wheels alot as they allow you a good view of whats behind the wheel, and they hide brake dust pretty darn good!
