Premium Gas ! !

Where is everyone getting premium gas in Charlotte?

I've checked 4 - 5 stations in south Charlotte, and they were all down to regular (not even mid-grade). Had to put in a couple gallons of regular in this morning.

We're having the same problem in Nashville. Regular if you can find any.
Supply trucks supposed to be in Tuesday. Maybe NC folks are on the same supply line? Had on station get a truck in Fri.With-in 3 hours they were dry. That amount would normally last a week they said.

Was in Raleigh last week and ran in to the same thing. Always fill the top half the tank so just went with regular--plus it was the wifey's car. ;-0

You should be ok with regular. Just use an octane booster if the problem continues. I wouldn't do that as a permanant solution. At least you all HAVE gas. We are down to....water.

These things run on regular just fine. I only put premium in mine when I track or autoX.

We live in North Charlotte and are just seeing the gas stations run out of mid and premium gas. But the Shell stations are fully running up here. Try Hwy 16 (Brookshire Blvd) for gas.

Here is Greensboro we are out of Premium and mid-grade as well. Attendant did not know when they would be getting the good stuff in.

No premium, or mid-grade in Cornelius. I haven't seen premium gas since the day before the storm.

Down here in GA looks like the Shell folks are doing better than most places. Not sure where they are getting their gas from. I thought I saw the attendant talking to the Chevron truck driver right before Shell suddenly had gas. Something about an "offer he coudn't refuse"? Not sure what that means though. :-)

And yes....water takes ALOT of octane booster.

Well. . . stations in south Charlotte are now starting to run out of regular as well -- a friend just drove to 5 stations before giving up.

I was wondering if y'all had the same problems in Charlotte.

I still have 2 bars left on my guage and thankfully I work from home, so I am hoping maybe I'll be able to fill up this weekend?

This stinks!

Hey Bruce,

Thanks for the offer. I'll check out the website and would appreciate a heads up on where we can stop on the way down. With all the news about no gas, I was getting cold feet about making this trip! ... but I really miss you guys and am glad that you and Cathy are able to make the trip.

We are going to get there, even if we have to drill along 95 for gas!
