if you have access to a GP vin # you can order the kit....otherwise no...

 

I think you have to prove ownership of a GP in order to buy GP parts. Keeps people from making their own GPs.

 

Hmm.. well im not sure I could make a fake GP unless I put a roof on my convertible ;-)

 

I was just perusing the GP section and it looks like all OEM GP parts purchases must be accompanied with a VIN to verify the parts are for an existing GP.
You could probably find a copy somewhere, but OEM parts are pretty much off limits. Interesting concept really.

Why the GP kit? In my humble opinion, that has to be one of the worst choices for a body kit if your going that route. Nothing about the GP is pretty. Hideous wheels, color scheme, and body kit. Let's not even start on the interior.

 

you don't need to own or have GP vin to order GP parts, I got my parts# from realOEM site and order parts thru our local MINI dealer. me and my roommate and other friends....
