Soon to be a Cabrio......
Well its true, wife needs a car, I always wanted a cabriolet....for her
and I am addicted to MINIs as a drug addict on heroin. That said I am waiting on delivery of a 2008 USED R52 S. I am paying 24,000 for it so Im happy. SHe has stripes and shes ASTRO black
Heres the new one. So I have a Super charged, AND a Turbo....If it matters...the Turbo is way more torquey and fun to drive 10 fold. Behold....

Finally
So we closed the deal finally. I have the 2 MINIs in my driveway.
The cabriolet will be perfect for my wife as she is the less aggressive driver. I am not at all impressed with the power output on the 2008 R52 S its sufficient but not invigorating. The power is smoother and very driveable, but I love my turbo SO MUCH MORE. When I mash the gas in the R56 S, the car instantly begins to roar, pull and accelerate. I like the open top cruising however or the cabrio.

What size did you go with? I am understanding that 15% is the most reliable, what are your thoughts?

I'm running 15%. If I had it to do again, I'd do 17% since my car rarely sees the track and, with the automatic, can't have the redline raised. But either one makes a huge difference in the car, with virtually no downside (other than fuel economy if you become a leadfoot).
I recommend 17% for street cars.

COOOOOOL....I got a question 4 you. My HKs in the rear sound like they need replacing. Do you know anything that will reproduce the exact sound or Better than the factory rears.
