Hello everyone!
Some great new things have been happening here at Detroit Tuned that I wanted to let you all know about. First off, who heard me on White Roof Radio? We helped Todd and DB with episode numbers 264 and 265. We talked about a few things in the MINI world that we learned on MTTS this year. We hope to be on there again from time to time to help them and offer technical support to the show. If you liked what you hear, send them e-mail and let them know.
Second is Detroit Tuned is expanding! We have out grown our small little shop and are working on moving to a much larger space that will offer a lot more in the way of services and parts in stock. The new building will be a hair over 5,000 sq. ft. and give us the space to long term builds, space for a dyno, and even winter storage for our local cars.
Maybe the biggest news… Chris Amatulli, better known as Tüls, will be working here in day-to-day operations. He will be working on cars, helping with the web page, and doing all types of odd jobs around here. He brought his 450 hp MINI with him that will be getting a full makeover at the new shop. It is quite possibly the most ambitious build anyone has seen yet.
Last but not least. Detroit Tuned is proud to announce our affiliation with ABF Performance. There are a lot of opportunities this will bring to the MINI community. R&D, testing and race proven products will be just a few benefits we will bring you as the first certified shop offering the best ABF Performance has to offer for your MINI.
We also added some cool deals in the vendor to member’s section; so if they have not sold yet, take a look. I added a Lamanova unit as well as some race seats to my MINI, so we have a lot of random OEM parts in the shop that are all for sale. If you need anything, please give us a call and maybe we can help.
