Boy Scout Car Show!!!!!!!!
Hello Everyone
Every year in September Kurt Wells boy scout troop have a car show that the Scouts help run. The idea is for car & motorcycle people to expose the next generation to our love of our sport, whether it's Auto-cross, Track, show, Sport-Touring, Cursing or Concours.
We want the scout exposed to responsible adults setting good examples of how we enjoy our sport. Far too many young people are hurt or lost to us because they lack the right role models.
Please take a couple of hours on Monday September 8th from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 to be the role model our young men and boys can look up to.
Please bring your cars and motorcycles, bring your auto-cross and track safety gear, a history of your machine and stories to share with the Scouts.
Location: Hale Road School parking lot. 1000 feet East south east of U.S. 20 Hale Road.
Time: Around 6:00 p.m. for setup. The Scouts will show you where to park.
Directions: From the west: S.R. 2 exit at Bacon Road, right at the end of the ramp,
500 feet to the traffic signal, left (east) on to U.S. 20, approx 1 1/4 mi. right (ESE) onto Hale Road (just past the CVS drug store) the right into the school parking lot.
Bribes: There will be brats, dogs, chips, water and soda free to all entrants, a chance to meet new friends and spend time with old friends. Most of all a chance to help young men see Motorsports in a responsible light. No alcohol permitted.
Invited: All cars, trucks and motorcycles, new or old that you want to show.
