Well, I dropped my RSD off at my CF fabricator today. I should have the finished product back sometime next week. Stay tuned!

Mhm, but mostly functional. It should come in at < .5 lbs.... Thats a 1.5 lb loss from my existing RSD using wood, as well as a massive load capacity...

Blake, you should tell everybody about all the CF options you have for this route in terms of thickness, weave, gelcoat, etc.

somewhere between 150 and 300... I'm doing a trade with this guy though, so pricing might be on the higher side for others...

Is he a MINI driver too? i may have some things i could trade too haha.

I've always wanted a RSD but never liked how they look... i know thats a little weird but... i like things to look nice aswell as function nicely.

No. He is just one of my clients and having him fabricate a RSD came up in conversation... I'm not sure if he is up to do a giant group buy, but he might be willing to do a couple runs of them...

Still waiting. I'm going to check in tomorrow. He is a busy guy, so I'm not going to rush him for doing me a favor......

My CF fabricator showed me a couple demo pieces of carbon from the table. All I can say is SEXAY! He should be done by friday.

They come from him with a light gel coating, and he recommended having them sanded and cleared. To show me the difference he poured some water on the carbon and the weave POPPED. It looks soooo good. He is also interested in taking orders for more of them since he has a table and templates for it. Let me know if anyone is interested. I will have pictures this weekend, both of the gelcoated and cleared versions. I will also have a price estimate for you.

Looks super-hawt mang! I want to like pet it & stuff. When do we get to score our own version? Also, can you talk to your fabricator about doing a piece to cover the boot-battery area? My car needs that piece covered as well.
