That came out quite nice! The only thing that I would do differently, would to of put a front lip on it to catch things...

Heres a couple more I took once the sun had set.

Chris: Its possible, but the current table and template wouldn;t allow for it.... I've been looking into other options and its possible to lay a mini logo underneath the gel coat so it looks like its inside the piece. This can be done for any logo or writing people would want. It's not cheep, but its worth it in my mind for the end result. I was quoted a final cost of $350 from my CF fabricator, but I'm not sure if that includes clear coating or not. I had to take it to a paint shop since he wasn't able to clear it this week. That was $125, but it can be done for as little as $50 if the guy knows what hees doing.. Figure $ between #350 and $450 out the door.

The fitment on this one was OK, but I need to move the location of the mounting holes over 2 or 3 mm to make it perfect. Other than that, this thing is a dream. Its 4 layers of woven CF on 1/4" core with a 2" wide backbone that runs down the center on the bottom that cosists of another 2 layers of woven CF and a 1/4" core. I imagine I could stand on this thing and it would not even bend, but I don't feel like testing that theory on my new $500 toy.....

Looks pretty nice. Now I really need to cover up that spot so it can look complete like yours.

The epoxy itself should be resiliant enough that a clear coat is not neaded, atleast its not any more or any less scratch resistant.

True, but if you want the weave to pop, you need to clear it...
