For those of you interested, there will be a fundraising car wash for the chief petty officer selectees this Saturday (August 30) at the Autoport on Base (the base gas station). This fundraiser is part of our initiation and the more people that show up, the better. This is a donation only car wash. For 5 dollars on top of whatever donation you leave, you car interior will be done as well.

To get to the Autoport, the Weapons Station is at the intersetion of Red Bank Road and North Rhett. Once you cross the railroad tracks, the Auto Port is about a 10th of a mile ahead on the left.

The car wash is from 9AM to 5PM.

This is not you high school cheerleader car wash. There will not be as much to look at but most of the guys are car people and know how to wash a car correctly.

Come on out and show a little love to the US NAVY!
