Wheel lugs,splines,locks or Tsw conversions?

What does everyone use stock lugs , spline drives , or Tsw conversion? Anyone use the Mcgard locks? I just bought some new wheels I really dont want them to disappear.

Spline drive nuts + TSW lug kit. I've never been concerned about having wheels stolen so I don't have any type of locking nuts.

Well, I started off with Turner studs and BBS nuts on my Koseis, but now that I have wild Konig Agains, I had to get "tuner nuts." Just to show my ignorance, I didn't ever realize there were such things... Fortunately the guy at Discount took pity on me and gave me a set of tuners and the tool for free. Another point of light gets lit!

Plus the new TSW Stud kit comes with the black chrome slpines, looks very very good.

Is it true that Discount Tire will not work on the car if it has studs and nuts?

I don't see why not. Several manufactures use studs as standard equipment. Even wheel locks, just give them the key and they should know what to do.

I think the OP may have meant a car that from factory uses bolts and has been converted. At that point, it may become a liability thing.

Most Discount Tires will not work on a car with studs. In the Dallas area there are a few that will. We have taught them well.

Discount is pretty sensitive to liability issues for good reason. They would not install my Konigs because I run spacers. That said, the last thing I would want is for someone else to install my wheels and use one of those effin air wrenches (they are for Nascar racers only!)

I bought the wheels and tires, they mounted them, I drove off with them in my boot...
