Note From the Current First Lady

Good morning all. Hope you are having a good weekend. Just have a prayer request. I am having rotator cuff surgery on the 27th. They tell me it is worse that knee replacement. I will be out of work for four months. Would appreciate your remembering me in your prayers.

Thanks and God bless all.

I had it done 3 years ago and while yours may be more complicated or worse than mine, allow me to offer some small hope. My recovery was quick and almost painless...........my PT told me others are not so lucky, but mine went really well...............within just a few weeks I was at full rotation with no pain.

I hope yours goes as well...............

However, it took almost 2 years to be pain free after my knee surgery, and that was just an arthroscopic procedure, not even replacement!

Already had both knees replaced, one Ok, the other not so good but I dread this because I am right handed and they say it has to be immobile for several weeks. Even the simple things will be hard I am told.

Thanks for thinking of me

If you need anything, give me a call. Now that I'm unemployed I am available to help if you need a ride to appointments, etc.

Hey there -=- I know you'll get thru it - we always do cause we're strong and powerful. Just think of all the new things you'll enjoy like reading, walking, enjoying the outdoors--and best of all, you just may have a really helpful therapist who can help you get all mobile again and get you laughing thru your therapy. Think positive & I'll keep you in my thoughts & prayers too.

Had something similar done to my shoulder. It hurts, but that isnt too bad. The main thing is it is just really annoying not being able to use your arm much. Makes it really hard to get comfortable at times

Thanks to all of you for the kind words, thoughts and prayers. I know "this too shall pass". By the time they get through with all my surgeries, I will be like the bionic woman. Take care and God Bless all.
