So I'm helping out a friend get a set of wheels, she wanted some Volk TE37 TA but those didn't come in above 16" for a 4x100 application

So through a few contacts I found someone selling a set of Volk TE37 in a 18x7.5 +40 offset, here is where it gets tricky

The car is not lowered, stock brakes no BBK, JCW, etc, but the tires are 225/40/18

With that said will a +40 offset work with a 225/40/18 (cause I know I run a +44 on a 215/35/18 and I'm slammed and no spacers I barely rub over dips on the freeway) the tires are a non negotiable part of the deal, they are brand new Michelin Pilot PS2

225/40 is way tall. If I were a betting man, I'd call rubbage. That said, it's a popular Subaru size...you'll have no problem selling them.

 

I'm running the 17x7.5 +40 offset on my R56. I'm also using 215/45 tires. They are perfect.
