1st Wed of the Month at Portillos across from Patrick MINI on Golf Rd 7-9pm to hang out and enjoy some food and friends and talk about MINI's. Even in the winter you may want to come out even without the MINI if the weather is really bad and unsafe to drive anything but a sled, we will see you there.

 

Last night we had 8 cars and 9 attendees. Unexpectedly Brandon, a new manager for MINI USA, stopped in and we asked him to join us. He is new to the Chicago area and decided to stop by Portillios and parked in front not even aware of the MINIs lined up in the back, hopefully he enjoyed himself.

We hope to see more of Brandon, who has quickly become a MINI enthusiast, as well as other members of the official MINI family, both corporate and from the dealer network.

Next month is the last meeting for the year, and the last one I will attend before moving to Massachusetts later in the month. Add it to your calendar.

That meeting is not an official event run by any one person or club/group.

If the weather is nice and people want to meet and enjoy some dinner together why not do it?

I'll be there every month that the weather is SAFE to travel.

For me it will be until the first winter salting!

 

Even then, owners can show up with winter rides and still enjoy the fellowship of MINI Owners.

Looks like we won't be there November 5th. Messed up my knee and having an MRI 11.5 and Eric has to work late.

Would have been up there.... Unfortunately the HUGE pot hole stopped my travels...

At least no body damage.... Can't say the same for the lower suspension... Should have it back together by Friday...
