Uh none? Besides, don't you usually get made fun of for your pecker size because your car is huge?

I sometimes call it a clown car. It is a car for those who don't have feelings of inadequacy. Large cars appeal to frightened people who feel the need to compensate for, ah...shortcomings.

it's not just older people... 23 years old here, no issue driving one at all.

every one of my friends made fun of me when I told them I was going to buy one.

every single one of my friends loved it after I forced them to go test drive one.

the jokes stopped...

People don't mess w/ me...I think they are scared. Besides, it seems your friends (and boss) need to be more worried more about the size of their intellect.

I'm in the process of getting things together to order my mini and yes I've heard the jokes already coming about the size of my pecker. Needless to say I can agree with dwf137, once they drive it the jokes will stop. I've test driven enough to realize how awesome of a car it is. No worries here.

After I got mine I went to Happy Hour one Monday at a local hang out and was asked by a friend, after a few tasty beverages, if I was undercompensating for anything. Other than that I always hear the clown car reference. Not so much now that gas prices have started to soar.

Strangely enough, none of my friends have tried to make jokes or relate pecker size with my car's size. I think they know better than to open that can of worms! lol They all drive big vehicles.

Told a friend of mine I was buying one and he claims that the Mini is to cars now what the Miata was to cars in the 90s - that it screams "I'm a homosexual".

I laughed and knew he was just jealous.

Never mind all this rhetoric, it's the heap in your net worth that counts, all else is BRAVO SIERRA.

No pecker jokes here, but yes heard all the clown car references. My co-worker even brought in a red clown nose.

It's all good though, I wouldnt trade my mini for anything

All my friends think it's awesome that I'm getting one. Only my business landlord said anything negative.

<blank stare>
"Why????"

Now that I think about it, I should have said, "Well, you know how tiny they are. It's all I could afford after paying rent."

Haven't heard one bad comment from any of my friends about my car since I got it last year. If anything, I've gotten all positive comments from them. And for some strange reason, this past month I've been approached by total strangers who told me they love my car. I do notice alot more MINI's going around nowadays so maybe its getting more exposure to the general public than normal.
