As I explore the MINI...couple more questions>>
One of those 'got to know' threads...
In the R65 MCS right rear compartment found this... the plug (<A) looks exactly like the one under the passenger seat at goes to the antenna pod? Any thoughts? And <B looks like a communication or antenna wire cable..connector is covered with a clear green plastic cap... ideas on this one?

Somewhat a variant on the thread about RFs and which models come with them and have or have not a spare... what tools did you get with your MINI...this is what I have for our MCS (RF and no spare)>>

Thanks
Michael

In early 2007 the jack, etc. was not included. You had to pay extra for it from the dealer. Is seems that there were a lot of complaints, and by May 2007, the jack was included.
I don't know about the wires. I have them in my 2007 MCS.

I just finished reading the runflat thread and the lack of a jack mentioned began to make me wonder if my eyes were deceiving me when I took a look the other day.But I do have the exact tool kit on my MY 08 MCSa with runflats that you posted.
I am unfamiliar with the wire connectors that you posted but it looks like it was already answered by pilotart.

I just had a look at mine, its the same toolkit in the MCS. Its missing somethings compared to the MC. It doesn't have the lifting handle for the spare, or the wrench to undo the spare, or the folding choc, or the plastic bag. The kit does have the tool to take off the hub caps, but I don't have hubcaps (the MC has the same wheels and doesn't have that tool.)
Looks like for the US models there are two tool kit variants...thanks for confirming guys. Also appears MINIs now come with wheel locks ...our dealer rep was surprised to see wheel locks on our MINI eventhough we did not order the "optional accessory"...said "looks like they are now putting them on at the VDC..." We also have the S-Winders alloys thus the little center cap pull thingy.

Regarding the wheel locks they were already installed on my MCSa when I picked up Scrappy back in April. There is no mention of wheel locks on the Maroney (MSRP) sticker.I found a small BMW wheel lock kit box in the hatch area with 2 wheel lock keys and 4 lug nuts.My wheels are the optional 17" Flame Spoke.
