Help me choose...rear emblems

I'm trying to decide how to finish my clubbie's rear...
Nekkid - no stinkin' badges?
MINI badge in the Center (which raises all sorts of how-to issues, but looks sweet)?
MiNI badge left with or without S right?
(see my gallery, rear badging)

I'm thinking of debadging my MCS as well. I did it on my M Coupe and it looked better to me.

Naked....I really don't like the placement of the emblems on the clubman. It's very unbalanced with the large wings and smaller font.

In my opinion with all the reflectors, two door handles, contrasting pillars, two wipers, dual doors, and large license plate mounting piece, the rear styling of the clubman is WAY too busy. Removing the badges is a good way to overcome this

when mine comes in (next week!) i'm going to give the clubman some love by replacing "cooperS" with "clubman" (i bought a clubman, not a cooper) and add a "turbo" badge underneath it.

I'm not worrying about it yet.
Every time I wash the Cubman, the Mini Wings tear into the terry cloth towel.

Take a vote and do whatever your wife tells you on the badge.

I think a Clubman S owner is less likely to remove the CooperS logo.

De-badge. (You know what it is so who cares about anyone else?)

I de-badged the rear and it looks much better, IMO. I am considering removing the front badge too, going completely nekkid.

Regards,
Terry

I thought the same until I found out that the front badge is mounted on pins. So you are looking at a body shop job for that, instead of just a heat gun and fishing line.

Interesting! different strokes for different folks....I've "earned" my wings and quite like them!

I would like to have a "Clubman" badge, too but dunno where to put that?

Yeah, I never quite understood the de-badging thing myself.

What's the appeal guys?

It's a cleaner/smoother look rather than having a very busy back end. The emblems generally draw the viewer's eye all over the back of the car. Removing them gives it a nice simplified look No distractions

My clean boot doors:

And I'm still mid project....but I'll be shaving the rear reflectors to further clean up the back end since it's too busy. Photoshop concept without the reflectors.....much less distracting
