Does your Clubman recgonize your finger prints?

I just got a call from an employee at my company who saw me push the button on the door handle to lock the car. He wanted to know if the car had some kind of finger print recognition technology. I explained how the comfort access system worked, but told him they'd have the finger print technology in '09.

Mine has face recognition technology, and set the cars feature to my set just by seeing me.

For my 09 JCW I had to submit a DNA sample to the factory in Oxford for comfort access setup.

I didn't know I could get a finger print recognition system (FPRS). I purchased thea voice recognition system but I would love to have upgraded to the FPRS. Damnit.... I wonder if there's an aftermarket product.

Mine uses DNA sampling. Only hurts for a few minutes but is 99.99999999999% foolproof. )

My Convenient Access recognizes my fingerprints via an interface from my IBM laptop. Not!

Funny stuff.
I LOVE not having to use key.
Passengers notice immediately
1) Click the remote to unlock.
2) Press Start and drive!

The Prius I rented this week while on vacation had sort of a comfort entry system. However, it was smart enough to know when I was in the vicinity and didn't even have to push the key fob to unlock. I just pull the handle and it unlocks because it senses the key fob in my pocket. Do Clubmans do this if they have comfort access? Basically, can you get into the car and start the car all without ever touching the key fob?

Yep, they surely do

That's a feature my MA was very quick to show me on one of the cars I took for a drive.

Very handy!
