Here is a potential parade opportunity for MINI5280 club members. I think we should have a minimum of 8 people sign-up before we enter the parade so if you are interested in showing off your MINI in front of a captive audience, then please sign-up at: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...&day=2008-7-30!

Route: The 2008 Parade route will be the same route as the 2007 parade. The parade will return to the staging area on S.E. 3rd Street and south on Railroad Ave. We will have to share this portion of the road with ourselves.

Awww come on ....it would be like a MINI meeting and drive....you do those during the week?

To be fair, I have not participated in evening drives 60 miles north through the entirety of rush hour traffic. The logistics are all wrong unfortunately; were it on a weekend, or if I got off work at a decent hour, it'd be easier. As it stands I get off work at 5:30, that leaves a scant 60 minutes to traverse 60 miles. 25 of which lead me through the worse knot of traffic in the state during peak hours. I'd be lucky to get out of denver in 60 minutes much less up north for your parade.

Sorry, but it's not feasible for me.

I absolutely encourage anyone that can make it, to do so. I'm but one of more than 200 active and paying members, surely we can scrounge up enough cars for this one.

 

 

I have a message in to my manager to see if I can take a car. I don't think they'll care since it's in the evening. Sounds like a fun way to "break up" the week!

I'm going to Wyoming and I'm having a one MINI parade.

 

Just us. 6 more cars to go...and tomorrow (Wednesday) is the deadline for entry.

Teena - I'd say just sign-up and let the MINIs fall where they may. You have three now and I'm sure others will join in as it closer.
