Any Good Mini Independent Repair Shops in Honolulu?

Just like the title says. Looking for any recommended independent Mini repair shops in Honolulu (especially if they have R56 experience).

But your car is under full warranty still....why would you want to get work done outside of the dealer? If you have to go independent, I'd say the place Bryan helps out at has the most MINI experience, however, not sure if they've ever worked on a R56.

You mean Motorwerks?
I didn't know they did Minis.

Mods. I don't like the chrome door handles and want to change that out. I heard it's difficult on the R56... gotta take off the window glass too.

Yep, Motorwerkes.

If it were me, I'd take it to the dealer if the window needs to be touched. They'll give you hell if something should happen to the window motors (like R50/53 had problems with) if someone else took apart the door/window.

Probably a good body shop could do it. It's more likely a new R56 could be in an accident and need a repair than to have a malfunctioning handle occur.

The dealership could do the install, but they charge a lot. At least that keeps the warranty intact for anything they do touch. Once you do it yourself or have anyone else do work you may risk your warranty for what was touched.
