I've done some complaining around here... so, in fairness to my dealer...

After my little lemon law rant, they piggy-backed a loaner to me (4+ hours away), took my car back and fixed the Nav and VR.

Well... as far as I can tell, the Nav and VR are working... I still haven't had a chance to give it a full test run. So... it seems as it wooden function steering wheel and NAV can work together... I guess you can't believe everything you read on the internet.

I'm a pleased customer again.... thanks, BMW of S. Atlanta!!!!

The sunroof still doesn't work correctly when it is hot outside, but I told them not to worry about fixing that (they don't have a fix anyway) because I don't want them to mess up the seal and they didn't seem to think they could fix it w/o messing up the seal.

Thanks for giving us an update - I'm sure your dealer appreciates it, too.

As for that sunroof problem - is it the same as this one: http://www.mini2.com/forum/3497309-post178.html
Hey all,

Well the only real issue I have with my Clubman is the sun roof will not open after sitting outside in the heat for awhile. Now I live in Canada, so it's not exactly 'hot' here! I have to push up on the roof to get it to go...

Sorry to here you will not have the wooden steering wheel that you wanted.

It sounds as if it may just be a grounding problem as the other wheels are actually made of metal. and i am not sure what the wooden ones have as a base material.

Any how glad to hear you now have the NAV and VR working.

Schatzy... actually, somehow they got the wooden steering wheel to work with the NAV and VR? Don't ask me, I'm just the driver.

Otra...yes, that looks like the same problem I have... on hot days here in S. GA, when I try to open the SR, it pops up then pops right back down. After it cools down, it usually works just fine. Weird.

By the way, the voice recognition feature is AWESOME!!! ...I've never had a car with that feature and I must say that it is convenient.

My mistake i thought you were saying that it does not work when you were actually saying that it does and the internet is wrong.

How can that be i have heard "The Internet Is Always Right" Although i do think i remember someone saying that it would work and another saying it won't work so in reality the internet may have been right all along.
