I'm here in Rochester for two weeks on business. My colleaques have all decided to take off and visit relatives or friends somewhere else so I'm stuck here all by my lonesome self this weekend driving a rented Trailblazer (aurrrgghhH!!!!)

Is there a MINI club or group of MINI owners here willing to take on a passenger. I miss my MINI and need a fix of riding the twisties this weekend.

 

I can't believe they left you alone for the weekend. Not very hospitable of them. I hope a fellow motorist from the area gets in touch with you. As a fallback, perhaps you could visit a dealership and take a long test drive?

Nearest dealer is in Willamsville NY (near Buffalo). Its Towne Mini perhaps they have some info.

Another option is to go down to Watkins Glenn this weekend. They are running the nationals.

I am in Albany (which is about 3 hrs east) if you want to meet halfway I am game to go looking for some twisties...

 

Hey thanks for the offer...but the trailblazer definitely does not respond to curves very well. I was thinking of taking Flytime's suggestion and driving out to Williamsville to visit the dealership there on Saturday. Accessories in the US are about a 3rd the cost of them in Canada. A run to Albany sounds like something to do on Sunday.

I'll PM you on Friday to see what arrangements we can make.

 

I was thinking meeting somewhere in Syracuse where you could park and then take the MINI so you can get your fix.
