R55 Aluminum door sill trim
1st post: No, but I replaced it in one door frame in my MINI. I used silicone glue to install the new one.
2nd post: no, wait! I used double sided sticky tape having a foam core. Was reminded by jez in his post below

Just noticed yesterday that my driver side ones are starting to come up a tiny bit on the ends. Kinda sucks. If they pop up even further was wondering if I could glue and clamp them down. The passenger side ones are fine so far.
Yep.
Just noticed this on the the passenger door yesterday after the wash.
Tapping down on the end of the trim caused water droplets to splash out. That explains in part why they aren't sticking. After it dies out, I'll try some 3M double stick tape- the thin kind, not foam- and see if that helps keep the ends down.
