Power Coating Place in SoCal?

I mean Powder Coating, can't fix the title

I want to powder coat my stock 17" 5 Star Pace Wheel from Clubman to carbon black or black, did anyone know a good shop in SoCal to do this? What is the price?

Thanks

I know a shop over here that can send it out to get powdercoated, they do good work, it's The Wheel Supply in Walnut, if you do go there send me a PM I'll see if I can get you any discounts, etc.

Talk with Paul or Josh at Shoreline Motoring in Huntington Beach. They actually sub the work out, but are very involved and detail oriented. It was a 6 day turn around start to finish, but it can vary by a few days. They kept me in the loop.

I was very pleased with the results.

Tell them Randy with the black GT sent you.

Just a heads up--you'll need to get the wheels chemically stripped before being powdercoated.

Also any plastic hub caps will need to be spray painted, so figure a separate quote on that unless you go the Duplicolor way.

Also the tires will need to be removed as well as the TPMS sensors.

If you can supply the wheels ready for stripping, you'll be much better off.

Shoreline can also have the wheels chemically stripped prior to powder coating.

I was concerned that powder coating might weaken the structural integrity of the forged BBS Wheels, but they said they use a low temp powder coat process.
