This is great show and have classes for Mini Cooper, Mini Cooper S and original Mini's even if you can only do one day it is well worth going just to see the cars. Last year had over 500 entires. For a few hundred bucks you can go out on the track in a Z4M, M3, X3, X5 etc and wear out some tires! Just ask Bruce. Doc and others that did it last year, took weeks to get that silly grin off there faces!

If you've never been, or are short on time, go on Sat, it is a GREAT time, the BMW PC is way cool, and you see some REALLY nice Euro's all in one place... besides of course, MINIs new and vintage from all over!

 

I'd go down for a day trip on Saturday...

What cars are from Sweden?

 

Would this mean... SAAB, Volvo, AMG, and dare I say... KOENIGSEGG!?!?!?!

 

Put me down for Saturday. Sounds pretty cool.

 

I had a Viggen and there are definitely Saabophiles there, and Volvo's in their own "corrals", I thought AMG was a Benz tuner ;-) and I've never heard of the K-car other than that piece of junk Chrysler made years ago, so it's possible they were and will be there and I just didn't know it!

As you can expect, the Italian's get the most attention...even from me.

This is a Koenigsegg (CO-NIG-ZEG) CCX, it currently holds the world speed record, it just broke McLaren's F1 record.

I doubt one will be there, I think there is only one in America as of now.

 

Now I have to upload the pics from the Porsche event yesterday, there's a plate on quite a car that fits this one better...please stand by...

Is there a cost, and do you have to register, if I just want to go Saturday to see the cars? The online registration forms seems to imply that one is registering to enter a car for judging.

 

You don't have to register, that is only if you are entering your MINI in the car show.
However they do request that you make a 5 dollar donation to the Red Cross as you enter gated area
and if you don't they will look at you like this and like this but if you drop a big donation you may get one of these .
