Spray tint for rear and side lights

Anyone have any recommendations for a spray on tint for the rear and side lights?

I tried the VHT Nightshades stuff. I had no luck with it, and it turned out looking like crap. I followed all the directions I read online from people that have used it, but it just did not turn out. Alot of people have used it with great success, so I have to think it was user error or weather conditions.
You can get it online, or I found it at my local Nissan dealer.

Black paint. Thin it out A LOT with paint thinner!!!! Use an airbrush to apply it to the INSIDE of the lens. Note that this is permanent, and if you don't thin out the paint enough, light won't be able to shine through very good. My suggestion for the tail lights is if you don't want to have to cut open the housing, then just get some of the blackout style vinyl and apply it.

I wound up using vinyl on the repeaters. Then took apart the tails, de-chromed them, and vinyled. Also did the 3rd brake light and the reverse light. You can get vinyl cheap (a couple of bucks a yard) and it's reversible.
