Anyone have any recommendations for a shop to do a pulley install in the North NJ area?

My warranty is about up on the car, so Im planning on doing some mods.

think about taking it on yourself, my first time trying took about 3 hours, nothing too difficult and will help build your confidence working under the hood

+1 I've been to Don for my suspension mods + alignment, then oil change and obx header. Don knows what he's doing.

Ditto. Many owners from CT to VA and beyond go to Helix for mods. Eric is probably only under Randy Webb in number of pulley installs.

Additionally, it's not a bad DIY project. I've done two so far, although one was while replacing a supercharger, so I'm not sure it counts...

go to helix13.com and see their list of approved installation facilities- there are a lot! I am pretty sure that at least 1 or 2 of them are in NJ.

I've had excellent experiences with Don at DMH and Eric at Helix.

Did you follow the instructions to lift your engine? I'm planning on doing it myself as well. I just ordered my pulley today and am hoping to get the job done in 6 hours as the instructions seem a little lengthy. Also, I didn't buy the belt tensioner tool so I am going to have to McGuyver that

welp, there are shops that specialize in euro makes. Shade Tree in Mo'town is one. Somebody mentioned new veron coach works. They should be ok for maintenance, especially if they are familiar with BMWs. plus with the amount of minis on the road in north jersey, they probably have serviced Minis.

there is a Dinan authorized shop in bergen county but i am not familiar with them. they do mention they do general mechanical work as well.
